About Me

Hello! I’m a tea-fuelled writer with a passion for exploring the world through food, drink (especially tea), and storytelling.

I’ve had the incredible opportunity to visit every Canadian province and territory—over 1,000 communities—and savour tea and cuisine in more than 20 countries. Each journey (and bite and sip) has deepened my appreciation food’s role in tradition, connection and story.

My first children’s book, Teatime Around the World (GreyStone Kids) celebrates this love of tea and global traditions. I’m excited to share that my second children’s book, Souptime Around the World, is coming in 2025!

When I’m not writing, I work in communications in the agricultural industry and am studying to become a tea sommelier. Did I mention I’m obsessed with tea?

I live in Vancouver with my husband and our son, where we’re always exploring, near and far.
